Meet our founder, Sophie Hood. Seoul Tonic is the result of combining Sophie's love for a social occasion, her borderline obsession with Korean culture and a deep interest in health, wellness and making people feel good! It was on one of her many trips to Seoul that she met Mr. Park, a third generation pear farmer who wanted to take his produce to the world. Sophie and Mr. Park partnered in 2021, and it is through this partnership that has enabled us to bring Seoul Tonic and the deep Korean history that comes with it, to the rest of the world.

• Korean Pear juice (87%) and extract (12%) are the two main ingredients of Seoul Tonic. Korean Pear contains key compounds, Aldehyde Dehydrogenase (ALDH) and Alcohol Dehydrogenase (ADH) known to reduce acetaldehyde (the toxin you build up when you consume alcohol).

• Hovenia Dulcis (fruit extract) (1%) is a natural source of Dihydromyricetin (DHM) which is known to be anti viral and support liver detoxification.

The quality of our tonic is extremely important to us. Tapping into Mr Park's family extraction method that has been patented and developed over three generations, we are able to carefully extract ALL the nutrients from the super fruits we use.

Our partnership is so special, as the Seoul Tonic formula doesn't exist any where else in the world. It truly is a unique combination and a representation of a cross border fruitful partnership!

We use the Korean Pears from the beautiful pear farm, right next to the factory in Gyeongju, and we are both involved in the manufacturing process end to end.
